It’s hard to stop a train they said
It’s hard to stop a train
Yet we stopped a train

It may plunge through American Democracy 
It may divide us like never before 
It may bring us, they say, bring us close to a total civil war

But that does not mean we cannot do it
By god, that means we must get to it

We must throw our bodies in front of it
We must unite, or die- to pull the tracks out from under it
We must not give up- for surely its end is nigh

While yes, trains might huff and puff
They may shout, with a sound quite gruff
Just know they do this out of pain 

For we? We just stopped a train
