My “I Am A Warrior” EP has themes of empowerment and self-confidence, as well as overcoming hardships by fighting for yourself. The EP also has an underlying theme of female empowerment, of rising above society's assumptions and expectations of how women should act and feel, and finally realising you can also become a warrior, no matter what others may perceive of you.
The first track on the EP is Warrior which talks of how life can leave scars even on the strongest of people, and that exposing your emotions and scars doesn’t mean that you are weak. They are what make you strong. Everyone can become a warrior.
My Power continues on the messages from Warrior, but this time the song focuses on fighting against other peoples’ assumptions and the dangers of underestimating someone before getting to know them. Not everyone is how they seem at first glance.
No One is a song about the gruelling fight against loneliness and the feeling of being stuck in a dark place with no way out. It shows how everyone needs someone there to support them, and that a little caring and support can be the helping hand willing to pull you out into the light.
