Nature's impact through Lockdown

Photos taken in nature

1) Dorset has always been a place close to my heart, it brings back those childhood memories of spending a week on different beaches during the summer. I have also dreamt of running through a flower field, and so the combination of the flowers that welcomed us and a view of the sea was a perfect way to spend time with family
2) The archway in our garden has been there for an extremely long time. During the lockdown of 2020 I found my interest in photography. I find that in my photos I often find a way of capturing the sunlight shining over the object.
3) I took this whilst hiking in Derbyshire, every time I go it's so peaceful and there are always lovely people that we meet on the walk which makes it more pleasurable
4) This was again taken in Dorset. It is my brothers most favourite beach and it is well known for these beautiful golden cliffs that line the coast
5) Durdle door is a place that I visited during the lockdown of 2020 for the first time and I have gone back again since. There were also many butterflies which danced amongst the flowers. The sea was a greenish blue colour in the light which made the photo more vibrant
6) Yet another photo at  Durdle Door. Again since I started photography I've enjoyed capturing streaks made by boats in the ocean and by planes in the sky, especially when there are no other distractions and objects.
7) This is a fossil that I found in Lyme Regis. Fossil hunting formed a large part of my childhood and so it's a tradition to go fossil hunting when we go to Dorset.
8) I visited Bath for the first time and again I love taking photos of quiet places with only a small number of people. I've also discovered that I enjoy taking photos against and object so that some of it is blurred
9) This photo was inspired by a friend who was working on a fine art piece last year. I was inspired by her ideas and wanted to try taking photos of light trails too.

10) As mentioned before I love capturing sunlight in my photos and a bird managed to make it in, mid flight. I'm in love with the vibrancy and the cloud formation in this photo!
