The First Waits

They waited on the
banks of the narrow steps,
laying their naive heads
on their tiny hand
as their thin legs dangled down
the steps of the awaiting

Oh, how that heart skipps;
another beat from sinuc tach,
boasting smiles and engraving
wrinkles on your cheeks!
Your intoxicating excitement
declares itself one of many
disappointing first feasts!

Please do not forget to check the time!
20 seconds it has been?

Some have had roses
as their companion during
their platonic waits;
all ready to start symphonies
under balconies to declare
love for those who are afraid!

Violons, the Kaufman orchestras,
or solo acoustic guitars
singing from their vocal throats
with the madness of such passion.

I must wonder how must
it feel to be praised from
your own bedroom window
from another wasteful beauty sleep,
and being the less passionate one?

Now, five minutes you say?

Ah, how maddening it is!
to declare yourself as a
half cupped prince/princess,
and lose your magic for
another’s uncertain fairy dust.

How long now?
Damn another 10 minutes!
It has been an eternity!

Look at the time on your wrist!
Have they come?
Especially off from their fairytaled,
golden flaked carriage
pulled by unicorns from the magical lands?

My friend, another 10 has flew by
as I make my statements!
I must confess to you the truth.

Open your eyes, seep the facts!
Thy the madden those eyes witnessed
plucked her lips to another lover,
cradled her heart into other arms,
and declared her everlasting love
to a young gentleman during your wait!

The maiden only gave the
black inked white paper
to only arrive if she had no
such company from another.

Those crafted from such imaginations
never seize like the rising
shining armors killed during
journey on their horseback steed.

Lovers share their likeness,
nd who are bonded over friendship
casted from reality,
spelled by company and care
are loves worth waiting on the
banks of steps for.

For I, like many, done the same
to only get pained from the
the invisible chariot,
who never arrived at its final destination.
