Ronald Reagan Rich explores the war on drugs and what role the American government played in the influx of drugs during the Reagan era. Surely the heavy drug trafficking of the time made a horrible impact on many communities but were these same communities helped along? We ask the question in a satirical way that flips corruption and capitalism on it's head. Furthermore, the biggest intent here is to point out that this era in American history pushed under served city kids to create music unlike anything that had been heard before. Without these events, Hip Hop as we know it doesn't exist in the same way. The most influential culture in the world may have never been created without bad American politics.
