Where the Time Goes

Where the Time Goes is a song and music video I created a couple months ago in an attempt to express and define a culture that is vague, but one that I identify with. The whole video is shot using a Sony DCR-TRV350 Handycam Camcorder (basically a early 2000s video camera). This camera was the best way to show a connection between anime and fashion of the late 90's with the current neo-punk lofi aesthetic found in the indie underground Los Angeles music and fashion scene. In the 90s Japan  called this culture Shibuya-kei, but currently we have no name for the modern fashion/music culture it inspired.
I make music under the artist name Preparation 500 with three songs on Spotify and a fourth coming feb. 9th. I will provide a link below and hope there is a project in the future that we can collaborate on!
