Welcome Party

She opened her arms to us when we were undeveloped and treated us as her own

We repay her by ruining the land she worked hard to create
We burned her forest we cut her trees
The weather angry
She is angry

She opened her arms to us with kindness yet we took her for granted and built open her skin
Our concrete floors and man made machines ruin her lungs
They are polluted with the selfishness of our black hearts

She opened her arms to us when we were honest.
But it seems it is to late to go to the welcome party
