Terminator 2 Toy Art

Terminator 2 celebrates it’s 30th Anniversary this year and to celebrate I decided to create as many of it’s iconic scenes as I could using homemade sets and toys. It was a massive mission to accomplish and currently each week on Social Media I’m  posting a new scene running in chronological order of the movie. I have coined the day Terminator Twosday or T2’SDAY. Why am I doing this? Due to being unemployed I’ve had to take a look at my career and assess what I can do to get back into work. I’m hoping that I may be able to work with toy manufacturers promoting their products. I’ve been a creative for over 22 years and this year has been the toughest I’ve ever been through. I’ve just about managed to keep my head above water. Since March 2020 when my work was cancelled up until today, I’ve worked every single day entertaining people on social media and helping them get through the pandemic. Before that I’d never created any photography like this or used a flash, I’ve completely self taught myself and all the sets I have are from around the house be it a step ladder, cutlery, tin foil, cling film, illustration, cotton wool, there’s no many things at hand to get creative with. I hope you enjoy what you see and maybe my working so hard will help me find work.
