Hello my name is Katelyn Fay aka Faena, i'm a 26 year old mixed media female visual artist and musician from Delray Beach, Florida based in Miami. This is a song called, "Energy" off my new upcoming album, "Immunity". It was written, recorded, and produced by me using Garageband at home in my room completely start to finish. It is about the feeling of giving all of your time and energy into someone or something and receiving little in return so in turn you leave feeling exhausted mentally as if all of your energy has been taken away from you and the struggle of trying to reclaim that energy and power and light back. This music video was directed and edited by me and with help filming by Allison Fay. It was shot in numerous locations including the Dream Hotel South Beach in Miami and a baseball field in Jupiter, Florida. My concept for this video came from the ideas behind the song itself, which are about trying to find the strength to regain your light and power when others drain you of it, leaving you feeling trapped in a stagnant situation or relationship. The video features appearances by my sister, Allison Fay, and musician, Annique Monet.
